ABOUT

We are a group of inter-tribal Mexican Indigenous, Xicanx, and detribalized families of Indigenous origins working together to decolonize, Indigenize, and heal our hearts, minds and souls through matriarchal & queer Indigenous leadership. We share our Nahuatlaca (Nahuatl speaking) heritage with community by way of community blessings, performances, storytelling, and educational presentations that align with our vision to create sovereignty and self-determination as Indigenous peoples of this continent by reclaim our sacredness and the sacredness of Mother Earth.

OUR STORY

We share our Nahuatlaca heritage as initiated remembers of the Mexica-Chichimeca Danza tradition by engaging in traditional healing, song, and dance traditions passed on to us by our teachers and elders. We are a transnational group that has been at the frontline of various intersectional issues ranging from migration, climate justice, mutual aid, reproductive justices, LGBTQIA+ and Indigenous rights. Our work centers our shared humanity as stewards of a liberated future in which our next 7 generation will thrive beyond our wildest dreams! We uplift the continued existence & resilience of Indigenous people & Original People of our continent as the medicine the modern world needs to return to their sacredness interconnectedness.
